Karol Radziszewski is the major Polish artist addressing in his work issues such as gender, sexuality, and queerness in Eastern Europe and Latin America, and the founder of the Queer Archive Institute, a queer history collaborative activist-artistic project. He works with film, photography, painting, installations and creates interdisciplinary projects. His archive-based methodology crosses multiple cultural, historical, religious, social and gender references. His work has been presented in institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, Warsaw; Whitechapel Gallery, London; New Museum, New York; VideoBrasil, Sao Paulo; Tokyo Photographic Art Museum.
